Headshots
I’ve spent close to a decade taking headshots, and over two decades working as a professional actor in both New York and Los Angeles. Along the way I worked alongside a top-notch NY casting director, and as a writer for Backstage on both coasts, interviewing entertainment professionals and writing a regular column called “Currently Casting".” Spending time on both ‘sides of the table’ has given me a unique perspective of the business.
My love of photography developed out of the numerous camping trips I’ve taken across the U.S. (If you need info about national parks or cool routes - let me know!) Praise from friends and family for my photos stoked the fire and boosted the joy I felt while taking pictures. As I began to invest in equipment, I realized that with my knowledge of the art and business of acting, headshot photography was a natural fit.
Luckily my own LA headshot photographer told me that someone had helped him when starting out, and he had never had the opportunity to do the same… until he met me. He took me under his wing and began to teach me the art of headshot photography.
I’m proud to have clients who have booked jobs on and off Broadway, in regional theaters, on all major tv networks, and in numerous films.
